I walked into the shop with my wife to purchase breast pump,for my sister who had become new mom,couple of weeks back, I picked up the article with few other clothes for the new born child and went to billing counter.Opened my purse and handed the debit card to the sales executive.He swiped 10000 rupees and asked me to sign the receipt.It was a shocker,had never thought that bill would go so much in for shopping for the newborn kid.After carefully going through the bill,found out the culprit,the breast pump was of 4500/-.I had lapped it up without even looking into the price tag, worst.. my wifey had seen the tag but thought it would hurt me if she tells me about it...

Place: Metro Shoe Shop,Centre One Mall,Vashi,Mumbai
We were roaming uselessly in the mall,suddenly wifey wanted to get into the leather shop "Metro" to see some leather handbags.I strolled in with her, she got busy with the stuff and I thought to kill the time by looking after the formal shoes.Suddenly, one of the pairs I found it to be very good and asked the salesman to pack them... Ekdum Impulse purchase decision..Meanwhile wifey also got hold of a leather bag and we went to the billing counter..once again opened up my purse and gave the sales executive at the counter to swipe my debit card.The bill amount was 7000/-..I was taken aback..I had thought it would be maximum around 4-5000/-..looked carefully into the bill and found out that the formal pair shoes which I had got packed was of 5500/-...

Place: Spar Hypermart,InOrbit Mall,Pune
I was alone in my place and just came across the thought to kill the time and visited the maal to od some monthly ration purchases.Since I had visted the Phoenix Mall last week, I knew that Tata Star hypermat located in it, is not going to accept the meal cupons inlieu of the purchases. So I confidently avoided it and went a extra mile to Inorbit for the purchase. When I was moving into the SPAR, there were lot of small display boards which had sodexo and ticket coupon's logo..Since i was in very positive frame of mind that they are going to accept the meal coupons..I didn't bother to read the fine prints on the board...Happily tucked up the purchase of 4000/- and went to billing counter...and produce the meal coupon of 2500/- and cash to foot the bill.The lady at the counter asked me to read the display board above which had categorically stated that the use of meal coupons has been disbanded at the hypermart.I was stuck..all my plans went for toss..paid the bill with debit card..chugged the trolley out of the hypermart....
While I was entering the hypermart,i had thought to enquire about them about the use of food coupons..but didn't...
I was just replaying all these three incidents of recent past in mind and only though which i came across and realised that
"Yaar...Puchne Mein Kyaa Jaata"......
